Improving access

We do offer some appointments up to 8:00pm on some evenings, which are outside of normal surgery hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm, Also open some Saturdays. These are primarily aimed at patients who are unable to make an appointment between these normal working hours. If you would like one of these early or late appointments please contact the surgery on our normal telephone number. Please be aware you will not necessarily be able to see your own GP as there are a limited number of these appointments available.

Out of Hours Service

If you require urgent medical attention outside of normal surgery hours please call the NHS111 Service on 111. This call is free from both landlines and mobile phones.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens. If you feel your situation warrants an emergency ambulance then there is an emergency ambulance checklist you can use for information.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

You can also obtain 24 hour general medical advice by accessing the NHS 111 Website.
