Primary Care Network Team

Welcome to HOSMS Primary Care Network (PCN)

HOSMS Primary Care Network brings together local GP practices in Honiton, Ottery St Mary and Sidmouth to work collaboratively and provide joined-up care for our community.

As part of the wider NHS Primary Care Network model, we share resources and expertise to offer patients access to a wider multidisciplinary team, including pharmacists, physiotherapy and health & wellbeing services, helping ensure people receive the right care, from the right professional, at the right time.

Physiotherapists help restore movement and function after injury, illness, or disability, and can also support you in reducing the risk of future injury or health problems.

Many of our physiotherapists are trained as First Contact Physiotherapists (FCPs). FCPs can assess, diagnose, and treat patients independently, much like a GP. They can also refer you for diagnostic tests when needed, and some have advanced training to prescribe certain medications or administer steroid injections.
